Yogurt Bagels

Ingredients

1cup flour

2 tsp baking powder

2/3 tsp kosher salt

1 cup greek yogurt, fat free (important)

1 whole egg, beaten

Optional toppings:  everything bagel seasoning, whatever you like


Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375.  Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

 

In a medium bowl, add the flour, baking powder, salt and combine well.  Add the yogurt and use a dough whisk (or spatula) until well combined, it's going to look like crumbles.

 

Lightly dust a work surface with flour, and knead the dough a few times until it begins to feel tacky, about 15 kneads.

 

Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces, roll into ball, then each ball into a rope, and then join the ends to make a donut hole.

 

Top with egg wash and sprinkle with seasonings.  Bake for 25 minutes, allow to cool 15 before cutting.
