Ingredients
- Eggs
- Water
- Food coloring - do what colors you love
Directions
- Gather your eggs and sit them on the counter prior to getting the rest of your supplies together. This small amount of warming will help.
- Bring a large pot of water to boil, and when it is boiling, use a spoon to lower the eggs into the water.
- Boil eggs for 11 minutes (12 at my elevation). Remove the eggs from the water, and place on a towel and walk away for 30 minutes.
- Crack the eggs to remove the shells, then rinse to make sure it's all off.
- For each color you are using, take a plastic cup and fill it halfway with water. Add 25 drops of food coloring, stir.
- Place the eggs into the colored water and allow them to sit for 2 hours. That's it. Proceed as you would - eat or make deviled eggs from them.
