Creamy fettuccine Alfredo with rich, buttery sauce, parmesan cheese, and tender pasta for an indulgent Italian classic
Fettuccini Alfredo

Ingredients
- 1 lb. fettuccine noodles
- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. heavy cream
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
- Fill a 2 quart saucepan, over medium high heat to boil. When it boils, add 1 tbsp kosher salt.
- Cooking according to package directions, and meanwhile, prepare the other ingredients.
- In another saucepan, warm the butter, then add the cream, season well with salt and pepper.
- Place half of the grated parmesan cheese into a large serving bowl, and when the pasta is finished, drain and add to that bowl.
- Toss several times, then sprinkle with the other half of the parmesan cheese. Add the butter and cream mixture to the pan, mix to thoroughly combine.
