Banana Brulé Oatmeal

Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
- 1 Tbs brown sugar
- 1 tsp butter
- 1/2 banana
- 2 Tbs nuts pecans or walnuts
Directions
- Bring water to a boil in a small pot. Add the oatmeal, turn the
heat to low and cook for 5 minutes. In a small sauté pan, add the butter
and brown sugar, over medium heat.
- Cook until the butter is melted and the sugar is completely dissolved. Add the banana and cook until thoroughly heated through. Add nuts if you prefer.
To Serve:
Put the oatmeal in a shallow bowl, top with the butter/banana mixture and sprinkle with nuts if desired. Add a small amount of milk around the edges of the oatmeal. Enjoy.
