Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

Ingredients
- 1/2 medium apple – chopped
- 1 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup old fashioned oatmeal
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp dark brown sugar
- 1 tsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup milk
or cream for serving
Directions
- In a small nonstick, add the coconut oil and the chopped apple.
Sauté for 3-5 minutes until the apple is soft. Add the brown sugar and
cinnamon and turn off the heat.
- In the
meantime, cook the oatmeal according to directions. Add water to a
saucepan, bring to a boil, and add the oatmeal. Cook for 5 minutes.
- To serve it
up - add it to your favorite bowl, top with some additional butter and the
apple mixture.

What can one say about Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal, other than it's amazing - the
taste of the cinnamon is probably the best part in my opinion.
