Ingredients
- 1 apple per person
- 1 tbsp butter per apple
- 1 tbsp dark brown sugar per apple
- fruit juice
- oatmeal /
granola to preference
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350° and gather your ingredients and a heat
proof oven dish.
- Core the
apples. Fill insides with some dried fruits. Mix the oatmeal with brown
sugar and fill the apples and spread more on the bottom if desired.
- Dot everything with a bit of butter, bake for 30-40 minutes or until a knife inserted goes in softly without resistance.

Baked Apples are an easy, hands-off dessert that is good for you as well. The granola/oatmeal is added for a little extra crunch. Baked Apples smell amazing also while they are baking.
