Fried Green Tomatoes


There shouldn't actually be a formal recipe for Fried Green Tomatoes.  It's just too easy folks.  Season up some cornmeal and flour, using a ratio of 3/1.  Slice the tomatoes fairly thick, pat dry with a paper towel, dip in an egg/water scramble, then press into the cornmeal mixture.  Fry with enough oil to cover the bottom of your pan.  Sprinkle with salt as soon as you place them on a paper towel.  And just Enjoy!
